Arkadi Monastery

The Monastery of Arkadi is located 15 km away from Villas Lefkothea at an altitude of 500 meters from the sea. The first written record dates from the 14th or 15th century. The reconstruction of the monastery can be traced back in 1572. A monument to faith and struggles for liberation of the Cretans.
