Dimitra Villas are two newly built, stone holiday houses with private swimming pool. Each one of the villas provide three bedrooms and they are located in the village of Kalives Chania.

The villas are built in an area surrounded by trees and they offer magnificent views of the majestic White Mountains.

The villas consist of 2 levels. Downstairs you will find the living room with a fireplace, the dining room, one spacious kitchen (fully equipped) and a bedroom with an en-suite bath. Upstairs there is a bedroom with two twin beds that can be joined together, with en-suite bath. On the same floor you will find the third bedroom with en-suite bath and a large terrace. Each villa has its own section of the pool and very large private outdoor areas ideal for the children to play or for your relaxation. 

The Villas are only a 5 minutes drive from the beautiful, sandy beach of Kalives resort area and only a couple minutes away of Armeni village. The village of Kalives is a popular resort area that has the traditional element with every modern facility. There are several restaurants, cafes, super markets, a medical centre etc.

Don’t miss the opportunity to visit Armeni village. It is an area full of trees and greenery. The fountains of Koiliaris river offer pleasant walks beneath the Plane trees.

The picturesque village of Kalives is located 19 km east of Chania, near the beach and has 1289 residents.
It is a beautiful village with its old stone houses that get combined with the most recent constructions and forming two separate neighborhoods with typical island style. The Xides river runs through the village, giving it a unique character and cools the environment.
It is worth visiting the ruins of the ancient city Ippokoronion on the hill of Kastelli.
In the village square you will see the traditional water mill built in the early 20th century, one of the oldest in the region.
If you want to visit the areas around Kalyves by car, you can visit the village Maheri, which has stone houses and an open air theater. After you come across Nio Chorio, two kilometers southwest, where you can see mills from the Venetian era and an ancient well. Finally, just 4 km to the southwest will find Armeni, a village in a magnificent setting with monstrous trees, giant eucalyptus, rich streams from multiple sources, small stone bridges, an old water mill and the church of St. Nicholas.
Also do not forget to visit the fountains of the river Zourpou and the wonderful beaches formed at the mouth of the river Kiliaris.
In Kalives, a festival for Saint Paraskevi is celebrated on July 26 and in Armeni, the Prophet Elijah on July 20.
There are also several tavernas, restaurants, bars and cafes.
The village has a regular bus service throughout the year. One can also use a taxi from Chania, private or rented car and motorbike.

Armeni village has built in a verdant landscape, covered by huge trees that their roots gush rich fountains from which much of the province uses. It was first inhabited by Armenians in 961 AD, and thus owes its name. The abundant waters irrigate the whole area and has become a huge garden with fruit trees and flowers.
Here you can make long walks in nature, and try plentiful and delicious dishes in the taverns of the village.
