Almond 3bedrooms Villa, is located at Elounda. One of a 2 villas complex with shared garden area of 300s.m. and swimming pool 10x5m. it is overflowing positive energy.

On opening the main door you come into a large room, on the right is the sitting area with the fire place, in the middle is the dinning one with large Monasterial table to sit 6 adults, at the far end is a complete kitchen.
The stairs lead to the mezanine floor, on the left is the master bedroom with matrimonial bed of 1930, balcony with table and in the middle is a complete bathroom, and from that point few stairs on the left lead to another bedroom with matrimonial iron bed of same age, with balcony and table and on the right another bedroom with two single iron beds also of same age.

The villa sleeps 6 adults in three different areas, and in three closed bedrooms.

It has been used as stables, for at least 50 years , and the present owners have inherited one donkey and small number of chickens when they bought it three years ago.

Location

set in the rural hamlet of Vrouchas, a place surrounded by greenery and olive groves sweeping down to the sea. Neighbouring villages, Loumas and Skinias, are also close by. In fact, when it comes to location, it's a great retreat if you’re after little more than back-to-basics for a few weeks.

It has been renovated in this traditional setting to make the most of the magnificent views.

You can head into either the local gourmet taverna or nearby Plaka and Elounda to sample typical Cretan food, in a variety of fish tavernas and traditional 'ouzeries'.

Elounda being at the bottom of the Gulf of Mirabello enjoys unique Seaside, Sandy and rocky beaches together with lots of green being full of almond, carube, and olive trees.

At the entrance of the Gulf proudly stands the Venitian fort on the island of Spinaloga and daily boat trips are organized on hourly basis.

For a rambler is a paradise, especially the walk on the seaside Elounda - Placa (5klms).

For those with archaeological interests the only excavated Minoan city of Gournia is 30 klm away as well as the Third Minoan Palace of Malia (also 35 klm away) are a must to visit.
Orthodox Monasteries are impressive, and within the area such as Areti, Kritsa , and Toplou.
